Elephants on Mars

A team game where players work together to send animals to the newly terraformed Mars. Every team member will put their part in a shared purpose: Turning Mars into a biodiverse paradise!
Players will take on different roles (Captain, Pilot, Vet...). And they need to prepare the right conditions for the rocket before every mission launch.
While everyone plays their individual role and chooses their own actions, the game requires teams to plan and coordinate their actions together in order to launch a successful mission, and help humanity see Elephants on Mars.

Format

The host greets everyone in Zoom and explains the mechanics of the experience.
Participants also receive a link in the chat and they will use it to access the game platform.
During the game, participants will be jumping to Breakout Rooms where they will meet with their teammates and plan their strategy, then they will get back to see their rockets fly (or fail).
Finally, the host will wrap up the event and announce the winning team.

Preparation requirements:

  • Sharing the video call link with participants.
  • Server test.

Player needs:

  • Computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile.
  • Access to video call software (Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet...).
  • Access to an internet browser (preferably Google Chrome).
